Our Aim
Our aim is simple: to create a successful girls pathway for our area.

We want to provide a club that allows for all girls to reach their full potential, no matter what that may be.
Liam Reid
Director
The Director of Lakes Soccer Club. Liam has been working in football since 2005, previously holding the role as Academy Manager at Barrow AFC, working with players from Under-8 up to Under-21 and Reserves. He is a current UEFA B Licence and FA Youth Module holder, gaining the qualification in 2022. He has experience working with many local junior clubs in the area, as well as in the USA, coaching for Seacoast United FC in 2012.
Liam is also an Assistant Headteacher at a local junior school, qualifying as a teacher in 2014.
Yasmine Swarbrick
Lead Coach
Yasmine has been working with both male and female players since 2014. She has extensive experience working in a local primary school, which she managed alongside her coaching role as a Lead Coach at the Barrow AFC Academy.

Yasmine has a extensive playing career, turning out for Liverpool FC Ladies, but most recently for Morecambe Ladies.
